Anti-p34 (cdc2 Cyclin Dependent Kinase)
p34cdc2 or CDK1, is a protein kinase phosphoprotein that functions in the G2/M phase check point transition during the cell cycle. It interacts with both cyclin A and B in mammalian cells, it is a catalytic subunit of the maturation-promoting factor (MPF). Activated p34cdc2 kinase phosphorylates a range of substrates resulting to specific events of mitosis including nuclear envelope break-down and chromosome condensation. p34cdc2 is also a key factor in lymphoid proliferation
