Anti-Interleukin-1beta
IL-1 beta is synthesized as a 31 kDa inactive pro-form and is further cleaved by caspase-1 to yield a 17 kDa mature form. Elevated levels of IL-1 beta have been associated with many chronic inflammatory conditions including sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, acute and chronic myelogenous leukemia, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, neuronal injury, and aging-related diseases.
