EZ-Retriever® System Overview

EZ-Retriever®System is a microwave-based antigen retrieval pre-treatment system invented by BioGenex. It is used for dewaxing, rehydration and antigen retrieval of formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections to enhance exposure of antigenic epitopes.

This system not only resolves the issues of inconsistency due to different types of antigen retrieval methods by applying different maximum microwave power levels, solution volumes and heating time but also facilitates the standardization of dewaxing and antigen protocols for high quality and reproducible staining.

i6000™ Infinity Overview

i6000™ Infinity is a multi-functional system that is designed to accelerate life sciences research and drug discovery and development by performing multiplex IHC, ISH, IF assays. 

Its open intuitive software provides users the flexibility to optimize up to 60 assay parameters simultaneously and use pre-optimized (ready-to-use) or user-defined reagents. This system is capable of staining 200 slides in 8 hours (make sure this is correct) and is therefore ideal for improving productivity in research laboratories that are seeking to free highly-skilled technicians for more demanding tasks.

Xmatrx® Infinity Overview

Xmatrx® Infinity is a fully automated molecular pathology workstation designed to accelerate life sciences research and drug discovery and development. It is an open system that allows simultaneous optimization of 40 assay parameters in a single run.

The 40 independently thermal-cyclable slide blocks enable any slide-based staining assays, including IHC, IF, ISH, CISH, FISH, multiplexed co-detection and miRNA ISH. Xmatrx®MINI is a compact, complete, ALL-IN-ONE, and fully integrated slide staining system for FISH, ISH and in situ PCR that greatly optimizes and simplifies workflow in research and diagnostic laboratories!

Xmatrx®MINI is equipped with 10 independently programmable slide work stations that can act as a thermal cycler for in situ PCR and for ISH or FISH stainings. Xmatrx®MINI is designed to enable the completion of the entire staining run at the slide work stations! All ISH and FISH protocol steps are performed while the slides stay on the system positions starting from baking, dewax, nucleic acid retrieval, enzyme pretreatment, hybridization, stringency washes, counter stain, DAPI, and final coverslip. This eliminates the need for separate dewax, and antigen retrieval stations, copulin jars, rubber cement, forceps, and water baths. The slides stay at the work stations throughout the process foroptimized work flow, saving valuable time and increasing productivity whilereducing human error. Furthermore, the Xmatrx®MINI system provides manual application of probes and micro-reagents, placed on respective slide processing stations, to optimize usage quantity and reduce cost. All other reagents canalso be applied manually.

For in situ PCR applications, Xmatrx®MINI performs rapid heating and cooling, achieving 95 ºC from ambient temperature in less than 2 minutes,and amplifies low-abundance nucleic acids within the tissue.

Xmatrx® NANO Overview

Xmatrx® NANO is a robust system with limitedautomation steps that maximize efficiency for automated in situ hybridization (ISH) staining. The Xmatrx® NANO is an All-in-One small-footprint system that is economical, affordable and ideal for in situ hybridization applications.

For ISH applications, the user simply needs to load the slide(s), select application, pipette micro-reagents (Nucleic Acid Retrieval, pepsin, ISH probe, secondary antibody, poly-HRP, chromogen, and  counter stain), and view the slides, thus reducing manual steps to only 6. The system pauses and alerts the user to manually pipette the micro-reagents for cost saving. Xmatrx® NANO is equipped with flexible open system software and therefore the user may use the reagents from other vendors.
